WHAT I DID THIS SUMMER

Waking up to a bright sunny morning is a spiritual healing for me. That and a good pair of shoes.

Lately  I have been feeling very good. Not only because it was summer time, but the activities I did during the summer definitely contributed to my well being. I had so much fun. It was the best summer I ever had.

Here is what I did this summer

I VISITED HOME/SOUTH AFRICA

I traveled to South Africa for the first time in a decade which made the vacation an extraordinary one. I was forced to withdraw from college for at least two weeks because I could not afford to miss my uncles wedding. They looked so happy together. The ceremony gathered all the family members which was incredible because I got to meet everybody. The thrill was real.

I MASTERED CROCHET TECHNIQUES

I finally took the time to learn how to crochet. I have always loved hand craft and this summer I decided to go for it. I have made bralets for my self and I am currently working on a nice sweater. It is totally something different but I am always open to try out everything and anything. There's no limit.

I BOUGHT PROPELLER HEAD'S REASON SOFTWARE FOR CREATING SOUND

Music remains the core of what I do. When I edit my videos, I look for the best sound I can possibly find. If you know me you know that I have a deep thing for music and I have wanted to be a DJ for the longest time because I feel that I have so much to offer. Perhaps you heard me say I wanted to have my own business, become a real estate agent, a chef, a big blogger and a rich YouTuber. The truth is I want to be so many things and I am willing and eager to discover so much more. I have such high expectations for myself. I dream big and I want big. Furthermore, I am currently learning how to create music. I have so much rhythm that I want to bring to reality. I am using a software called Reason by Propeller Heads and it is tough going but I will surely get a hang of it.

I CELEBRATED 2 YEARS WITH THE LOVE OF MY LIFE

It feels like it was only yesterday when I met Mike. It all flew by so fast I lost track of time. It has been a wonderful journey with my boyfriend and we are growing together. Throughout the two years we learned so much about each other, we have similar values and norms, same political views - we dont support Trump or Hillary. It doesn't matter who wins the elections and is elected for presidency because the political agenda remains the same. We are both quite introverted. We are crazy about fitness and we really enjoy each others company. Most importantly we love each other. Quick life lesson, in life, you want someone who embraces your flaws when you are down. Respects you, supports you, got your back and never pressures you. I found that in him and I never looked back. A true partner.

I VISITED ALGARVE IN PORTUGAL

So my boyfriend and I went to Portugal in June. Take me back. It was the best holiday. We stayed in Albufeira, in a villa called Aldeia de Falesia. A small heaven. We spent ten nights and eleven days. Boy the weather was ridiculously hot I got three shades darker on my first day at the beach. I have vivid bikini lines as we speak. We did so much and I wont cover everything, just brief. We went to the strip which is probably the best in the whole world. The strip consists of twelve clubs at least. It was fun and there's like every ethnicity there. From a-z. Moreover, we visited Faro, Villamoura and the old Albufeira marine where we got on a cruise. It was such a great experience. The cruise lasted for good two and a half hours. At some point we got off the cruise for a swim in the middle of the ocean. We really had a good time.

I GOT MY FIRST MICHAEL KORS PURSE

So I recently purchased my first designer bag. I really wanted Louis Vuitton or Stella McCartney because she supports veganism but I thought Michael Kors was more my age. So I got finally Michael Kors' overrated Saffiano Tote. Happy days!
